Now that we've moved, what are we doing?

Well, skiing of coure silly!  We bough season passes to the nordic center at Snoqualimie Pass and have been enjoying using them. We have not brough our camera too many times but I do have a few pics to show you.  The one thing I don't like about this year is that it's been so warm here that the lower mountain is soft and slushy so we've been riding the ski lift to get to the higher elevations and tons of trails.  It works out great! So, what's not to like you ask? I DON'T LIKE ski lifts!! But I'm managing and every time I fall while getting off I just get up and dust myself off. Like Nike says in their new commercial it's all about how gets up after they fall right?  HA!  Remember to add one more element of scary to the ski lift is that we are wearing skinny skis! I have a hard enough time wearing the big old down hills skis..... oh well, I haven't dies yet so I guess I'll keep riding the lift to get to the better snow and sunshine!
Here's some of the pics I promised:
Here we are at the Nordic Center.  That's a down hill ski hill not in much use right now because there's not a chairlift in the area at the moment.
Monika goes skiing with us sometimes. Here we are in the car before a day in the snow.
Here is Grand Junction, a place of rest and food during a day out on the trails.
Tonya out on the trails. Pretty Winter Wonderland!
And one last shot of us!
So now you know we're finding places to play!  Until next time.......

We've moved to Seattle!

Thanks for joining us over here at the new blog! Here we will journal and share photos of our new move to Seattle. We figure it will be just the place to share our new city with you.
What a whirl wind was the month of November for us! Erik was offered a job to work for King Co. in Seattle, WA. In the month of Nov we traveled to Seattle for one last meeting with new company and to check out places to live. After that trip we decided that it was the right thing to do and officially accepted the position. Then we had three weeks to pack up the house and say good bye to all of our new friends we have met in MontanaI worked until 4 days before we had to pack up the moving truck.
We took about two days to pack and spent some time with friends. Then on Monday, Nov 31st at 0730 we took the truck and pointed it towards Seattle.   We decided to pull our car on the trailer so we could ride together in the truck.
Erik did a great job driving most of the 9 1/2 hours. (I drove about 2 hrs)
We arrived after dark and were met by Aunt Kay and Jonathan to help us get some unpacking done. LAter Monika even stopped by and helped. We crashed and awoke the next morning to these views from our balcony!  And the BLUE SKY!  When we first moved to Seattle it was actually clear and sunny for about 10 days. The temps were cooler than normal but fine for us in the 20's and 30's.
Here is Erik standing by the railing of the hallway in the front of our building.

Here is a view of the "back" of the building. Our balcony is on the third floor right there on the corner.

Our truck is almost empty. I'll tell you we were really tired by this time!!

Here's a view of all the boxes in our living room. (I'll try to post pictures of our unpacked living room soon!)
Here is a view from the balcony in the afternoon. We have a great view of the Cascade mountains!

Keep following from more on our new life in Seattle!
